Job summary

Aston Carter seeks an Accounts Payable Analyst for a contract role in Novi, MI. You will process a high volume of invoices, post journal entries, and perform intercompany reconciliations to support accurate month-end results.

You will work with SAP and other ERP systems in a fast-paced automotive/manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with policies and efficient operations. Onsite, with a daily food stipend and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with accounts payable processing and high invoice volume.
• Experience with intercompany reconciliations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and SAP or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced automotive/manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Post and process accounts payable transactions accurately in a high-volume environment.
• Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger per policy.
• Perform monthly reconciliations, including intercompany accounts.
• Assist with month-end close and year-end closing activities.
• Support audits with documentation and explanations to auditors.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
