Northbound Executive Search represents a well-known Financial Services firm in New York seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join its team.

The role focuses on administering the full AP lifecycle, validating invoices, coordinating approvals, and ensuring timely payments to vendors through ACH, checks, and wires. Candidates should have 2–5+ years of AP experience and familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Great Plains.

Competenze

• 2–5+ years of Accounts Payable experience within financial services.
• Experience with Microsoft Great Plains accounting software.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and controls.
• Experience with AP systems and ERP platforms.

Mansioni

• Oversee and execute the Accounts Payable process.
• Maintain and improve the functionality of the AP system.
• Oversee AP mail and inboxes; ensure invoices are processed.
• Review invoices against service contracts for accuracy.
• Obtain internal approvals for invoices.
• Facilitate payments to vendors via ACH, check, and wire.
