Atrium Staffing is partnering with a leading Orlando home builder to recruit an Accounts Payable Specialist. The role focuses on processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining precise records within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of AP experience, proficiency in QuickBooks/SAP/Oracle and Excel, and strong organizational skills. Associates degree or higher is required; benefits package included.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of accounts payable experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and provide reports as needed.
• Work closely with other departments to resolve issues related to accounts payable.
