Job summary

Renewal by Andersen, the custom division of Andersen Windows, seeks an AP Specialist for our Stamford, CT office. You will enter vendor invoices, reconcile accounts, and support billing processes in Dynamics 365 BC with a focus on accuracy and vendor relations.

Requirements include an associate or higher in business/finance, 2+ years with Dynamics 365 BC, and proficiency in Office 365 and SharePoint. Onsite schedule with standard weekday hours; benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
• 2+ years' experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Enter vendor invoices and credits into Dynamics 365 BC.
• Negotiate discounts and manage vendor accounts.
• Process daily bills and invoices.
• Conduct weekly check runs.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Handle credit card charges and coding in Dynamics 365.
• Download/upload invoices to platforms for transparency.
• Data entry to various platforms.
• Process yearly 1099s.
• Assist with ad hoc reporting.

Renewal by Andersen is the custom division of Andersen Windows. Founded in 1903, Andersen Windows has been the world’s largest and most recognized brand for exclusive window and door systems. Renewal by Andersen was founded with the objective of creating a different and better window and door replacement experience for homeowners.

We are looking to expand our administrative team by filling in a key role within the organization with an AP Specialist in our Stamford, CT office. This individual will be responsible for receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices with our accounting team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Enter vendor invoices and credits into Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Negotiate discounts credit on invoices with vendors; generally, manage vendor accounts and develop relationships.
• Process bills and invoices daily.
• Conduct weekly check run.
• Identify and resolve billing discrepancies to ensure balanced ledgers.
• Break down and resolve credit card charges; apply related class codes as applicable in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Download and upload invoices to various relevant platforms to promote transparency and efficiency.
• Data entry to various platforms.
• Yearly 1099 processing.
• Any ad hoc reporting and tasks within the team

Qualifications:

• Associates degree or degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
• Working with a CRM system
• 2+ years' experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (required)
• Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint
