Job summary

TCWGlobal is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist at our Santa Clara, CA office. This W2 contract role is onsite and offers $51.50/hr with benefits, PTO, and paid holidays.

You will join a top-tier finance team and report to the Director of Accounts Payable, handling exceptions and vendor partnerships. Responsibilities include end-to-end AP processes, training, invoice cycles, and contributing to automation projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of accounts payable experience.
• Proficient in SAP and vendor invoice management systems.
• Strong MS Office skills: Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of end-to-end AP processes and train others.
• Handle invoice processing cycle, reconciliation, and error resolution.
• Support AP automation projects with training and testing.
• Monitor metrics for the Vendor Invoice Management system.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal buyers to resolve issues.

Accounts Payable Specialist

Reporting directly to the Director of Accounts Payable, you will handle Accounts Payable exceptions and collaborate with essential vendors. Responsibilities:

What you’ll be doing:

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of end-to-end Accounts Payable processes and provide training to ensure uniform practices.
• Handle the entire invoice processing cycle, including reconciliation and timely resolution of errors.
• Support AP automation projects through training, problem resolution, and testing.
• Monitor and report on critical metrics for the Vendor Invoice Management system.
• Collaborate closely with vendors and internal buyers to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

Requirements:

What we need to see:

• An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience in Accounts Payable.
• 5 years of proven experience in Accounts Payable.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems, particularly SAP, and experience with Vendor Invoice Management systems.
• Outstanding skills in MS Office, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent organizational skills with the capability to multi-task.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in process automation and improvement.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
