Overview

Accounts Payable Specialist

San Jose, CA (onsite)

Pay: 35-40/hr

Are you someone with at least five years of accounts payable experience looking to join a nice team in a fast-paced environment? Do you have construction industry experience? Responsibilities

• Process and review invoices for accuracy and proper approval


• Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies


• Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments


• Reconcile accounts payable transactions


• Maintain vendor files and respond to vendor inquiries


• Assist with month-end closing and reporting


• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred


• 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting


• Proficiency in Excel


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
