Job summary

Saraya USA is seeking an entry-level AP Specialist to gain hands-on experience in accounts payable. You will follow established processes to investigate invoice issues, maintain compliance, and develop problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, organizational skills, and a willingness to learn new software such as Excel and ERP systems. This role offers growth in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting during month-end closings.
• Other duties as assigned.

Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level AP Specialist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to build hands-on experience in accounts payable.

To be successful in this role, you should be eager to learn, able to follow established processes for investigating and resolving invoice issues and committed to maintaining strict compliance with company and regulatory standards.

An outstanding candidate should also have excellent people skills and a willingness to develop strong problem-solving abilities.

AP Specialist Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and processing all invoices for payment
• Managing vendor records and verifying wire/ACH payment information
• Responding in a timely manner to all inquiries regarding payment status or general questions from vendors
• Assisting with internal control activities (reviews, approvals, reconciliations, etc.)
• Assisting during month end closings
• Other Duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred
• No prior accounts payable experience required — internships, coursework, or related office/customer service experience are a plus
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (through coursework or prior exposure)
• Comfortable learning new software; familiarity with Excel or accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Bill.com) is a plus but not required
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Detail-oriented
