Client: Building Services/Management Organization
Role: Accounts Payable Specialist
Perm
Hybrid with the first initial 90 Days onsite

Salary Range: $60,000-$70,000
Location: Long Island City, NY

***Must have NetSuite and Excel

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Process invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and receiving reports.
• Code invoices to appropriate general ledger accounts.
• Prepare and process payments, including checks and electronic transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor files and records.
• Assist with month-end close procedures.
• Assist with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounting NetSuite software - *Preferred*
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
