WORK YEAR: Full Time, 260 Days

QUALIFICATIONS: Previous Accounts Payable experience with working knowledge of accounting principles. Ability to prioritize workflow. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills for extensive contact with vendors and staff. Strong organizational skills. Familiarity with MS Office Software. Knowledge of Highland and Lawson Payables a plus.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: Processes and enters school district's accounts payable. Responsible for accuracy for all school payments. Assists Accounting Coordinator with processing of school warrants. Responds to all payment inquiries from district personnel and outside vendors in a timely manner, including all follow-up necessary to maintain positive relationships. Covers receptionist's desk as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by the Manager of Business Services.
