Job summary

ZAGG Inc. in Midvale, UT is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage the company’s AP processes. You will record vendor invoices, set up new vendors, and ensure timely payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships.

The role requires 2+ years of full cycle AP, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software such as Microsoft GP and NetSuite. We offer competitive benefits and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience with Full Cycle Accounts Payable.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Understanding of workflow processes and process improvements.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, with the ability to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience with process improvements and system implementation (Not required).
• Knowledge of accounting software and systems, preferably Microsoft GP and NetSuite.

Responsibilities

• Record vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Setup new vendors, including requesting W-9’s.
• Help manage the shared AP Email inbox.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors via checks, ACH, wire transfers, or credit cards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors by addressing any payment issues, discrepancies, or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Complete PO 3-way match.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including accruals.
• Assist with the implementation of new systems and processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and the overall accounts payable workflow.
