This is a great opportunity for either a recent Accounting or Finance graduate with relevant internship experience or an experienced AP professional looking to join an established organization with strong benefits.

This position is actively interviewing and onsite in Manchester, NH.

Qualifications

• Accounting or Finance education preferred; recent graduates with relevant AP/accounting internship experience are encouraged to apply.
• Prior accounts payable experience is preferred but not required for entry-level candidates with relevant internship experience.
• Understanding of invoice processing, purchase orders, general ledger coding, and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and supporting documentation.
• Comfortable working in a fully onsite environment in Manchester, NH.

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 100 vendor invoices per week accurately and timely.
• Match vendor invoices to electronic purchase orders and verify proper general ledger coding.
• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies.
• Review expenses and verify appropriate purchase approvals.
• Prepare vendor payment reports for review and approval.
• Respond to vendor and internal staff inquiries regarding invoices and payments.
• Assist with credit card administration and reconciliation.
• Assist branch and program managers with accounts payable-related questions.
• Prepare assigned balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations.
• Assist with journal entries and correcting transactions.
• Support month-end close activities.
