Role Summary

Under the supervision of the Accounting Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Specialist will handle processing, reconciling, tracking, and payments for all accounts payable, as well as assist with closing and audit activities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process accounts payable transactions accurately and timely, including verifying supporting documents and issuing checks weekly.
2. Monitor and report on outstanding invoices.
3. Resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
4. Reconcile credit card accounts and ensure timely payments.
5. Handle benefit invoices and coordinate with payroll records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business; extensive relevant experience may substitute.
• Minimum of two years' experience in accounts payable, with full cycle knowledge.
• Proficiency in computerized accounting systems, Excel, and Word.
