Position Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team at Allia Health Group. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing the company's outgoing payments accurately and efficiently. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and supporting the finance team with timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify vendor invoices and payment requests.
• Match purchase orders with invoices to ensure accuracy (3-way match).
• Enter and maintain invoice records in the accounting/ERP system.
• Process payments via check, ACH, and wire transfer.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors or internal teams.
• Support month-end closing and audit preparation processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
• Minimum of three years' experience as Accounts Payable Specialist or in a related role.
• Minimum of three years of experience in vendor management, invoice processing, check runs and ACH payments.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Knowledge of GAAP and internal control procedures
• Experience handling a high volume of accounting transactions in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• QuickBooks certified
• Experience in accounting software NetSuite
