Job summary

River Crossing YMCA in Flemington, NJ is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist for a full-time hybrid role. The position handles high volumes of vendor invoices and employee expense reports, using SAP Concur and other accounting software.

The environment supports collaboration across a multi-location nonprofit finance team. Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in accounts payable, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP Concur) and other accounting software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing a high volume of vendor invoices ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
• Assist with processing employee expense reports.
• Assist with the payment process (checks, ACH, wire transfers) and related delivery thereof.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of all AP transactions.
• Assist with audits by providing documentation and explanations related to accounts payable.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Flemington, NJ | Full Time, Hybrid, Hourly | 30 - 40 hours per week | $21.63 - $24.04 per hour

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who can help support our finance team. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the vendor invoice to general ledger posting cycle and have experience with invoice processing platforms, purchasing platforms as well as employee expense report platforms. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

What is needed for this job as our Accounts Payable Specialist:

• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
• Experience working in a matrix organization or a multi-location organization
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and vendors
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP Concur) and other accounting software preferred
