Job summary

Fraza / Vitan Equipment is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support routine data entry for accounting records, including accounts payable and cash receipts postings, with AR adjustments.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience; strong Excel and accounting software skills, and good communication are essential. This on-site position offers stability and exposure to a full accounting cycle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of related accounting experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Knowledge of spreadsheets and accounting software.
• Thorough understanding of accounting practices and procedures.
• Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently into computer software and systems.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine data entry for accounting records including accounts payable, cash receipts posting and accounts receivable adjustments.
• Review billing statements, invoices, and similar documents for accuracy.
• Post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Generate summary sheets and reports as directed.
• Allocate expenditures to correct accounts according to departmental procedures.
• Assist with various accounting projects as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
