Job summary

Ports America, Inc. in Tempe, AZ, is seeking an Accounts Payable and Risk Support Specialist to ensure timely and accurate payments and provide administrative support to the Claims/Risk Management Department.

You will process ACH transfers, wire payments, and vendor invoices, manage email inquiries, assist with month-end closing, and support audit requests while delivering top-notch customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years disbursement processing experience or similar billing/payments experience.
• 3+ years administration experience.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Process payments including ACH transfers, wire payments, and in-house check printing.
• Process and enter vendor invoices.
• Monitor and respond to inquiries in the support email inboxes.
• Coordinate with Treasury to execute payment files or resolve issues.
• Void, stop, and reissue checks as needed and obtain copies.
• Resolve stale-dated checks and payment concerns.
• Run reports and assist with month-end close activities.
• Provide administrative support to the Risk Department (mail, scanning, filing, indexing).
• Assist with 1099 preparation and audits.
• Deliver best-in-class customer service to internal and external customers.
