Job summary

Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas (MANA) is seeking an Accounting Assistant/Payable to handle vendor payments, coding of invoices, and bank reconciliations. The role supports physicians and clinics with timely financial processing and detailed reporting.

The ideal candidate has broad accounting knowledge and a four-year degree or equivalent, and will collaborate with the Accounting Supervisor to maintain accurate records and assist with month-end closes.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of fields such as accounting, marketing, business administration, finance, etc.
• Equivalent to a four year college degree.

Responsibilities

• Ensure payments to vendors are made on a timely basis per contracts or PO terms.
• Ensure invoices are coded accurately.
• Coordinate routine activities with Purchasing Department.
• Prepare monthly production schedules for assigned companies.
• Prepare and allocate monthly administrative expenses.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and post journal entries as needed.
• Research and prepare monthly external accounts receivable invoices.
• Update monthly reports for physicians.
• Demonstrate willingness to take on new responsibilities with short notice.
• Work closely with Accounting Supervisor.
• Perform other related duties as required.
