Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations across all facilities, reporting to the Controller. You will handle AP/AR, invoicing, cash application, and reconciliations while ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.

Key duties include processing invoices, applying payments, assisting with month-end close, and supporting audits. Strong Dynamics 365 BC and Excel skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Proficient in Excel with data analysis and reconciliation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable daily.
• Prepare customer invoices and apply payments promptly.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end close and journal entries.
• Support audits and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Maintain vendor and customer records in systems.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting efficiency.
