AREA TEMPS, INC. is seeking an Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our Lake County team. The role focuses on accurate processing of invoices, timely payments, and reconciliation of vendor statements.

You will work Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., collaborating with an outside accounting firm and supporting payroll backups as needed. The ideal candidate maintains precise records and communicates effectively with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable/receivable invoices and payments accurately and in a timely manner
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
• Respond to vendor inquiries, resolve payment issues, and send bill reminders / contact delinquent accounts as needed
• Prepare financial reports related to accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Back-up for processing employee timecards and payroll-related processes
• Coordinate with outside accounting firm in preparing annual financial statements and processing payments

• Work closely with outside accounting firm in preparing annual financial statements and processing payments
