Black Hills Energy is seeking an Accounts Payable Processor in Rapid City, SD. You will handle invoicing, check requests, and resolve discrepancies while supporting routine vendor inquiries and internal staff communications.

No prior experience is required as training is provided; a strong eye for detail and confidentiality are essential to succeed in this role, which operates under established internal controls.

Position summary

The Accounts Payable Processor will perform accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient processing of invoices for the company and all subsidiaries maintained in the region.

Pay Range

$18.58 - $28.20 per hour (This posting includes the full pay range for this position. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.)

Essential Functions

• Review and process invoices, check requests and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Promptly provide routine information to vendors and employees as requested.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations.
• Obtain a strong understanding of the automated accounting systems in PeopleSoft and SharePoint.
• Maintain documentation and perform job duties in compliance with Sarbanes Oxley.
