Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, CO, seeks a full-time Accounting Technician II to support Financial Services. Primary duties include accounts payable processing, document verification, and record maintenance for campus procurement and travel reimbursements.

Two years of technical accounting experience with AP required; college transcripts may substitute. Preference for Banner-like systems, strong customer service, and detail orientation in a fast-paced college environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical accounting experience including accounts payable.
• Two years (60 semester credits) of college in Accounting or Finance may substitute for the experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
• Experience interfacing with diverse people and providing customer service.

Responsabilités

• Process accounts payable and generate warrants for invoices and reimbursements.
• Collect, analyze, and verify invoices and purchasing documents.
• Reconcile procurement card statements and ensure proper documentation.
