Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, CO is seeking an Accounting Technician II to support the Cashier's Office and Student Financial Services. The role focuses on payments, deposits, and customer service in a busy campus office.

Experience with Banner and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable; residency in Colorado is required, with a pre-employment background check and potential after-hours coverage during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Two years of technical accounting experience or bookkeeping as the primary function.
• Two years (60 semester hours) in Accounting or Finance may substitute for experience.
• Associate’s degree in Accounting; Banner experience and Excel skills are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary face-to-face contact for Student Financial Services.
• Process tuition, fees, and charges with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Balance cash drawers daily and prepare deposits per procedures.
• Reconcile daily revenue and provide support during peak periods.
• Coordinate with Library/Math/other departments on charges and holds.
