Job summary

Jim Hudson Automotive Group is seeking an Accounts Payable Admin to compile and maintain verified accounts payable records, reconcile statements, and issue payments to vendors. Automotive experience with Reynolds & Reynolds is preferred but candidates with strong AP experience in other industries will be considered.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Knowledge of coding payables from a chart of accounts, expense accounts, etc.
• Attention to detail and organized.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
• Must pass pre-employment testing including background checks, MVR, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval.
• Prepares accounts payable checks.
• Reconciles statements and the ledger to ensure payments align with dealership schedules.
• Communicates cash requirements for payable dates to the office manager.
• Maintains vendor and computer files; handles 1099 prep at year end.
• Daily reconcile credit card payments and posting ACH funding for contracts.
