Talis Group, Inc.'s client, a prestigious Louisville law firm, seeks an Accounts Payable/Accounting Specialist to support daily accounting operations, including AP, trust accounting, reimbursements, Benefits Administration, and payroll backup using ADP Workforce Now for 300+ employees. This full-time onsite role offers full benefits and a 40-hour work week.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of related experience, a degree in Accounting/Finance, and strong Excel skills, with a focus on accuracy,

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting/finance preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of related experience, ideally in a law firm.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Process vendor invoices and firm expenses with accurate coding.
• Verify invoices and expense reports for policy compliance.
• Coordinate AP aging and ensure timely payments.
• Handle check runs and electronic payments per schedule.
• Assist with trust accounting and expense reimbursements.
• Provide payroll backup using ADP Workforce Now for 300+ employees.
• Assist with benefits administration and related inquiries.
• Support accounting department in administrative tasks.
