Job summary

Marathon Sports, a premier running specialty brand in New England, seeks an Accounts Payable Manager in Waltham, MA. This full-time role oversees AP operations, vendor relations, payroll processing every other week, and related finance functions across multiple store locations.

You will handle utilities, store services, month-end tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate records. Prior experience in high-volume AP and ERP systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or related field.
• Experience in accounts payable and high-volume processing.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite and electronic payment platforms.
• Experience with PayChex or payroll processing is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee invoices and payments processing to meet deadlines.
• Manage weekly check runs and reconcile vendor statements.
• Review inquiries related to invoices and payment requests.
• Coordinate payroll processing every other week with HR.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Establish and maintain AP controls and procedures.
• Collaborate with vendors, store managers, and corporate staff.
