Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or management experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounting environment.
• Experience working in a high-volume, computerized Accounts Payable environment required.
• Workday Financials and Workday Accounts Payable experience strongly preferred.
• Gaming, hospitality, casino, or large multi-entity organization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to Seminole Tribe of Florida policies and internal control standards.
• Manages day-to-day operations of the Accounts Payable department and ensures timely processing of invoices, payments, reimbursements, and disbursements.
• Oversees invoice coding, approval workflows, payment processing, and supplier maintenance.
• Maintains vendor master data and ensures W-9s and tax documentation are collected.
• Acts as subject matter expert for Workday Accounts Payable and supplier management.
• Participates in Workday implementations, upgrades, testing, and training.
• Partners with Procurement and other departments to match POs, receiving docs, and invoices.
• Investigates discrepancies and resolves payment issues.
• Supports month-end and fiscal year-end close and reconciliations.
