Monster Energy is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager Temp Only to manage all aspects of Accounts Payable to ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors. Analyze processes and identify improvements to enhance efficiency across the AP function.

You will guide, teach, and mentor the AP staff, interview and hire, and conduct performance reviews while ensuring internal controls and vendor records are maintained. This temp role involves handling global payments and month-end activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of full-cycle accounts payable in a fast-paced environment.
• 3-5 years of experience in supervisor role.
• Knowledge and experience with international payments/banking requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure vendors are paid in accordance with company policy and maintain vendor records.
• Implement and improve accounting processes and systems.
• Analyze project indicators to ensure productivity and efficiency of processes.
• Prepare and manage payment transactions globally (ACH, checks, and international/domestic wires); prepare journal entries and reports.
• Participate in month-end processes and manage AP cut-offs.
• Prepare 1099-Miscellaneous forms and assist with legal requests as needed.
• Serve as a resource for interpreting AP policies, procedures, and regulations.

A Day in the Life:

In the position of Accounts Payable Manager Temp Only, you will manage all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors. Analyze processes, identify ways to improve them.

The Impact You'll Make:

• Guide, teach, and mentor the accounts payable staff. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and conducting staffperformance reviews. Effectively and positively communicate with colleagues and vendors.
• Ensure vendors are paid in accordance with company policy; enforce and adhere to internal controls for the AP function. Maintain vendor records
• Implement and improve on accounting processes and systems.
• Analyze key project indicators numbers and ensure productivity and efficiency of processes.
• Prepare and manage payment transactions globally (ACH, checks, and international/domestic wires). Prepare journal entries, reports and analysis as requested by senior management.
• Participate in the recurring month-end processes, including the management of AP cut-offs.
• Prepare 1099-Miscellaneous tax forms and tax levy. Assist with legal requests as needed.
• Serve as a resource to staff, department managers and others for interpreting policies, procedures and regulations relating to AP.

Who You Are:

• Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting, Business Administration or related field of study
• Additional Experience Desired: More than 5 years of experience in full cycle accounts payable in a fast-pacedenvironment
• Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in supervisor role
• Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Prior knowledge and experience with international payments/banking requirement

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated hourly pay range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Pay Range

$41 - $55 USD
