Job summary

Monster Energy is seeking an Accounts Payable Lead to mentor and guide the AP staff, ensuring invoices are processed accurately and paid timely. The role requires cross-department collaboration to resolve discrepancies across teams.

You will audit PO and Non-PO invoices, create payment proposals, and lead monthly closing procedures while delivering on special projects. A Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance and AP experience are required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  • 3–5 years of accounts payable experience.
  • 1–3 years in a full cycle AP role with internal control experience.

A day in the life:

In the position of Accounts Payable Lead, you will lead, mentor, and coach the accounts payable staff to ensure invoices are processed, paid timely, and accurately. Responsible for supporting the team research discrepancies, work with many different departments, and vendors globally

  • Audit and post purchase orders (PO) and Non-PO invoices
  • Create and review payment proposals
  • Resolve invoice issues with Transportation, Customer Service, Inventory, Purchasing, etc.
  • Perform monthly closing procedures and run reports
  • Provide leadership to accounts payable team and deliver on special projects as assigned
Who you are:
  • Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Accounting, Finance or related field of study
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting
  • Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in a full cycle accounts payable role, internal control system

Monster Energy provides competitive total compensation. The estimated hourly pay range for this position is listed below. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.

Pay Range

$25 - $33 USD
