Job summary

Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center (MSLCC) is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to oversee all AP functions. You will maintain vendor records, review invoices, code expenses, and ensure timely payments in a compliant financial environment.

The role supports month-end and year-end activities, assists with audits, and guides department leaders on AP procedures. Strong accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail are essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field, with at least two years of relevant experience.
• Experience in accounts payable, accounting, bookkeeping, or related financial functions preferred.
• Proficiency with computer systems, accounting and billing software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to learn and use MSLCC's financial and operational systems.
• Background screening and vaccinations as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vendor records and tax documentation, and obtain W-9 forms when needed.
• Review invoices for accuracy and proper approvals before payment.
• Enter invoices and related transactions into the accounting system.
• Process vendor payments accurately and on time, including early-payment discounts when available.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing and audit preparation.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with internal controls and policy.
