Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable professional to own end-to-end AP processes, including PO and non-PO invoicing, 2/3-way matching, and timely payments, in a fast-paced manufacturing setting in Long Beach.

You will lead AP Specialists, drive performance metrics, and collaborate with Supply Chain and Finance to resolve issues and drive improvements, including automation through OCR/AI tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 6+ years of AP or accounting operations experience in fast-paced environments.
• 3+ years in a supervisory or team-lead role.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AP — intake/entry (PO & non-PO), 2/3-way matching, payment runs, aging; resolve escalations while maintaining controls.
• Lead AP Specialists' priorities and workload; conduct 1:1s, feedback, performance reviews, and training.
• Drive AP metrics (on-time rate, cycle time, match rate); use data to fix root causes and document scalable processes.
• Manage Vendors & Partners: resolve disputes; coordinate with Supply Chain, Plant Controllers, and Receiving on PO issues and cash forecasting.
• Champion AP Automation: drive automation/AI use cases in invoice processing; partner with Systems/Data to implement new capabilities.
