Job summary

The Accounts Payable Manager at The Odom Corporation will oversee the AP team to ensure timely payments, accurate coding, and high-quality service for suppliers, vendors, and employees.

Located across multiple offices, the role reports to the Assistant Controller and requires strong leadership and process improvement skills. A competitive salary plus comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years experience managing accounts payable in a medium to large company.
• Experience with Great Plains, MediusFlow or Encompass preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the AP staff to deliver high level service to suppliers, vendors and employees.
• Oversee weekly check runs and EFT payment reconciliation for multiple companies.
• Ensure accurate coding per GL chart of accounts and timely payments per vendor terms.
• Participate in month-end close and review of preliminary P&L.
