Job summary

The Odom Corporation is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP team and deliver a high level of service to suppliers, vendors, and employees. This position can be located in Bellevue, Sumner, or Vancouver, WA, or Boise, ID, reporting to the Assistant Controller.

Salary range is $75,000 - $110,000 DOE, with benefits including EBITDA bonus eligibility, generous PTO, holidays, medical/dental/vision, and a 401(k) with employer match.

Qualifications

• BS or BA in Accounting or Finance or significant work history.
• 5+ years of experience with a medium-sized to large corporation managing accounts payable and supervising staff.
• Great Plains, MediusFlow and Encompass experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and 10-key.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Accounts Payable staff and deliver high service to suppliers, vendors and employees.
• Oversee weekly check runs and EFT payment reconciliation for multiple companies.
• Ensure accuracy of coding in line with the general ledger.
• Ensure timely payment according to vendor terms.
• Participate in month-end close and review preliminary P&L.
• Prepare AP year-end audit schedules and 1099 forms.
• Suggest procedures to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
• Provide accounting assistance to staff and address financial questions.
• Liaise with external parties and maintain historical information.
• Hire and train AP staff; address performance issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
