Accounts Payable Manager
Compensation: $70,000 – $80,000

Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Manager:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of a high-volume, multi-entity Accounts Payable department
- Lead, mentor, and develop AP staff while ensuring deadlines and performance goals are met
- Manage vendor onboarding, payment processing, check runs, ACH and wire payments, and vendor relationships
- Review and approve invoices, payment batches, manual payments, and exception transactions
- Partner with Treasury and Accounting to support cash management and timely disbursements
- Oversee month-end AP close activities, reconciliations, and reporting
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, vendor documentation, and 1099 reporting requirements
- Analyze AP metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements and automation
- Serve as the escalation point for vendor issues and complex AP matters
- Support audits, special projects, and ongoing financial operations
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Manager:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience
- 2+ years of AP leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience managing a high-volume, multi-entity Accounts Payable function
- Strong knowledge of full-cycle AP processes, vendor management, reconciliations, and 1099 reporting
- Strong Excel skills and experience utilizing ERP systems
- Real estate, property management, or corporate accounting experience is a plus
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship
