Job summary

Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. is partnering with a well-established transportation and supply chain company to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Manager in Coppell, TX.

You will lead a high-volume AP operation across multiple entities, with responsibility for coaching a team of 8–9 professionals and ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments. You will drive process improvements, support ERP enhancements, and develop KPIs while maintaining strong internal controls and audit

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment.
• 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
• Experience supervising teams of 8+ employees.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, and AP best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the accounts payable function across domestic and international entities.
• Manage and develop a team of AP professionals, providing coaching and performance management.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of high-volume invoices, payments, vendor maintenance, and disbursements.

• Overseemonth-endandyear-endAPcloseactivities,includingreconciliations,accruals,andreporting.

• Driveprocessimprovements,automationinitiatives,andworkflowefficiencies.

• SupportERPandfinancialsystemenhancementswhiledevelopingkeyperformancemetricsforthedepartment.
