Neighborhood Health Center is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function and drive improvements in processes and internal controls from its Buffalo-based operations. The role emphasizes timely invoice processing, vendor payments, and compliance with GAAP in a healthcare setting.

You will collaborate with clinical and administrative teams, optimize workflows, and support audit readiness while ensuring accurate financial records and strong vendor relationships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of AP experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, AP workflows, and audit requirements.
• Comfort with ERP systems and a love for clean, efficient processes.
• FQHC or healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Excel, Sage accounting software, UKG, Liberty Pharmacy Software, Verity Pharmacy software

About the Role:

You'll lead our AP function with a commitment to improving processes and strengthening internal controls. Responsibilities include:

You will be primarily based at our Northwest location, 155 Lawn Ave, Buffalo, and will also occasionally travel to other Neighborhood sites.

What We Offer:

Compensation: $72,000 - $75,000 annually, based on a full-time 40 hour work week

Requirements

Education and Experience:

5+ years of AP experience.

Strong understanding of GAAP, AP workflows, and audit requirements.
