Job summary

Neighborhood Health Center is seeking a senior accountant based at our Northwest location in Buffalo. The role focuses on monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support decision-making and cost monitoring, under the supervision of the Vice President of Finance.

You will collaborate with a team dedicated to high-quality patient-centered care and will be primarily based at 155 Lawn Avenue, Buffalo, with occasional travel to other Neighborhood sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience required.
• 1-5 years of accounting experience preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• FQHC or healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Excel, Sage accounting software, UKG, Liberty Pharmacy Software, Verity Pharmacy software preferred.

We are seeking a senior accountant who has a passion for numbers. Do you have an affinity for spreadsheets along with the ability to interpret them for others, and a desire to make the healthcare experience better for patients?

About the Role:

As a senior accountant at our Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), you’ll be our finance specialist preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that support Neighborhood in decision-making, while keeping an eye on cost. You’ll report directly to the Vice President of Finance and work with a team that is focused on providing high quality patient-centered care.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manages financial data entry and financial report creation
• Supports payroll and accounts payable responsibilities
• Analyzes and summarizes financial statements

You will be primarily based at our Northwest location, 155 Lawn Ave, Buffalo but may also occasionally travel to other Neighborhood sites.

What We Offer:

Compensation: $74,000 - $78,000 (based on a full-time, 40 hour work week)
