Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking an AP Accountant in the San Francisco area to process and reconcile AP invoices and payments, reconcile vendor statements, and support month-end close. You will maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries, with focus on accuracy and timelines.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of experience, post-secondary education in Accounting or Finance, SAP experience, and strong Excel skills; you will work cross-functionally and contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance.
• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Experience with SAP is mandatory.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile AP invoices and payments accurately and on time.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support month-end/year-end close, including AP accruals and account reconciliations.
• Maintain vendor records and respond to internal/external AP inquiries.
• Prepare reports and assist with process improvements and other projects
