Job summary

Mary Hall Freedom Village Inc. in Sandy Springs, GA, is seeking an Accounts Payable & Fiscal Specialist to manage day-to-day fiscal operations with a focus on accounts payable, vendor management, and financial documentation.

Under supervision of the Fiscal Director and Grants & Revenue Manager, you will process invoices, payments, and reconciliations, support grant reporting, and help ensure audit readiness and strong internal controls.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience in nonprofit environments.
• Knowledge of accounts payable practices and accounting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Process full accounts payable cycle from invoice receipt to payment.
• Verify invoices for accuracy, authorization, coding, and documentation.
• Code invoices to GL accounts, cost centers, and grant funding sources.
• Prepare and process checks, ACH, and payments; reconcile transactions.
• Maintain vendor records and 1099 tracking.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.
• Ensure compliance with grant requirements and internal controls.
