The College of Charleston seeks an Accountant/Fiscal Analyst I (Re-Announcement) to join the Controller's Office. This role involves processing Banner accounts payable transactions, reconciling postings, and supporting financial reporting for a large campus environment.

Required are a high school diploma with 3+ years of accounting experience; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Banner Finance experience and travel management software knowledge are highly valued, with a focus on internal controls.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with 3+ years accounting experience; a bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with Banner Finance and accounts payable.
• Ability to apply South Carolina laws and institutional policies in accounting.

Responsabilités

• Process and audit Banner accounts payable transactions and postings.
• Verify accuracy of commitments, payments, and vendor/employee records.
• Prepare reports using Excel, Word, or other Microsoft apps.
• Verify travel reimbursements against authorizations and policies.
• Assist with system upgrades, configurations and reporting in Banner.
• Communicate disbursement policies campus-wide.
