Job summary

Central Carolina Technical College (SC) seeks an Accounts Payable specialist in Sumter to manage payable processes, voucher preparation, and invoice audits with close-out duties. You will prepare journal entries and liaise with vendors to resolve discrepancies while ensuring accurate AP records.

• Issues accounts payable checks.
• Prepares vouchers for payment.

• Performs daily, monthly, and yearly close out of Banner.
• Produce the daily and monthly cycles.
• Prepares various analysis of accounts and makes journal entries as needed.
• Balance detailed accounts payable which includes credit memos, packing slips and ongoing project accounts (E-form).
• Prepares monthly journal entries to allocate costs to departmental accounts.
• Provides support documentation for report preparation.
• Maintains accurate accounts payable files.
• Communicates with vendors, faculty and staff to clarify discrepancies and locate missing documents.
