• Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of general ledger and accounting functions preferred.
• Experience in data entry with working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing.
• Strong customer service and relationship building skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall accounts payable process following policies and ensure timely vendor payments.
• Communicate with the Controller regularly to address problems and train staff to reduce issues.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and branches regarding AP transactions and balances.
• Set up vendors with proper tax information and ensure accurate reporting.
• Process invoices for payment with correct dates and numbers to avoid duplicates.
• Review invoices against purchase orders and ensure posting period accuracy.
