Job summary

Water4, headquartered in Oklahoma City, seeks an Accounts Payable & Finance Specialist to manage the full AP cycle in Sage Intacct and maintain accurate expense coding across the GL. This role supports the Director of Finance, interfaces with Salesforce, and oversees the Ramp card platform, with front-desk duties to keep the office running smoothly.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in AP or bookkeeping, proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace, and familiarity with nonprofit fund accounting.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable, bookkeeping, or staff accounting experience required.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of general ledger account coding, chart of accounts structure, and basic accounting principles (debits/credits, accruals, month-end close).
• Experience with Sage Intacct or a comparable ERP system strongly preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and Google Workspace.
• Nonprofit, fund accounting, or grant-funded organization experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full AP cycle: receive, review, and code vendor invoices in Sage Intacct; route for approval; and prepare payments.
• Code transactions to correct GL accounts, reconcile AP sub-ledger to the general ledger monthly, support month-end close.
• Administer Ramp corporate card platform and reconcile monthly; assist staff with expense coding and policy questions.
• Coordinate with Development to reconcile gift/payments between Salesforce and Sage Intacct; upload grant documents.
• Provide front-desk and general office support to keep the Oklahoma City office running smoothly.
