Job summary

Progress Rail, a Caterpillar Company, in Albertville, AL, is seeking an Accounts Payable Data Entry professional. This role focuses on accurate invoice entry, troubleshooting, and supporting AP goals in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of AP experience, strong Excel/Word skills, and familiarity with SAP, Infor LN, or Coupa. Associates degree or higher is preferred, and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years intermediate Accounts Payable experience preferred.
• 10-key calculator skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Experience with SAP, Infor LN, Coupa or other payables system is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Highly organized and able to maintain accurate information in multiple systems.

Responsibilities

• Upload and process Accounts Payable invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
• Optimize invoice automation.
• Process invoice exception queues.
• Perform root cause analysis on problem invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Support Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to achieve goals.
• Follow established accounting policies and procedures.
