Job summary

Mindlance is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to oversee invoice processing and payment verification. You will liaise between departments and customers, ensuring timely resolution of issues and accurate posting to the General Ledger.

The role requires at least two years of progressive AP experience, proficiency with Windows/Microsoft Office, and familiarity with SAP. The position is based at the Juneau campus with a hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of progressive Accounts Payable experience.
• Proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office; SAP desired.
• Ability to maintain confidential information and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices with timely verification and processing of payments.
• Resolve problems for internal and external customers and direct inquiries.
• Research supplier accounts in detail to address concerns.
• Work with banking systems to process domestic and foreign payments (checks, ACH, wires).
• Understand the accounting necessary for accurate General Ledger reflection.
• Apply internal controls to ensure proper segregation of duties and safeguard assets.
• Be familiar with Accounts Payable and accounting concepts; SOX 404 experience is a plus.
• Manage multiple tasks accurately and independently while meeting deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and senior management.
