Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Accounting or related field.
• Preferably 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical, math and data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with records of business transactions, accounts receivable, accounts payable and inventory records.
• Prepare journal entries and enter into accounting software to assist in balancing of general ledger.
• Perform three-way matching of invoices/packing slips/purchase orders and maintain records of completion of purchase orders.
• Maintain vendor pay record files and communicate with vendors regarding invoices questions.
• Maintain confidential financial information and ensure internal controls are followed.
• Prepare work by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
• Pay invoices and verify transaction information and schedules.
• Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
• Investigate discrepancies and resolve adjustments or stop payments as needed.
• Maintain financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
• Observe Kaizen and 5S procedures; follow safety rules.
