Job summary

Marucci Sports is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join the Accounting team. You will monitor cash outflow, ensure timely and accurate invoice processing, and reconcile vendor accounts to maintain clean financial records across multiple companies including Marucci and its affiliates.

In this role you will collaborate with managers for invoice approvals, help optimize payments, and support month-end close with precise data entry and reporting.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with ERP systems and SAP Concur is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Forward invoices to appropriate managers for approval.
• Reconcile receipts to invoice and process payments for inventory transactions.
• Reconcile, approve and process general invoices for payment on a weekly basis for four companies.
• Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with accounts.
• Facilitates payment of vendors, including verification of federal IDs and PO review.
• Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment and identifies discount opportunities.
• Assist with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements.
• Record petty cash documentation and distributions.

You would be responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for the company, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, reconciling financial records, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. The Accounts Payable Specialist works across multiple companies, including Marucci, Victus, ALMM, CAT Timber, Lizard Skins, and Baum, to ensure seamless financial operations.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Forward invoices to appropriate managers for approval.
• Reconcile receipts to invoice and process payments for inventory transactions.
• Reconcile, approve and process general invoices for payment on a weekly basis for four companies.
• Receives and verifies expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
• Facilitates payment of vendors, which may include verification of federal ID numbers, review purchase orders, and resolving discrepancies.
• Ensures outstanding obligations are credited upon payment, identifies discount opportunities, and issues purchase order amendments or stop-payment orders as needed.
• Assists with accounting records and ledgers by reconciling monthly statements and transactions.
• Records entry of, verifies documentation for, and distributes petty cash.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs.
• Experience with ERP accounting system - Microsoft Dynamics/Navision a plus.
• Experience with SAP Concur.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
• At least two years of related experience required

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
