Job summary

Alamo Structural Steel, LLC in Texas is seeking an Accounts Payable/Accounting Clerk responsible for posting invoices daily, reviewing tax-exempt forms, and maintaining accurate Excel records to support efficient, compliant operations.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED; an Associate's degree in accounting or general business is preferred, with two years of office accounting experience. This position is 100% in-office with on-site work only.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Associate's degree in accounting or General Business preferred.
• Two years of office experience; accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Post invoices daily.
• Review invoices for tax exempt forms.
• Maintain Excel spreadsheets for accuracy.
• Check figures, postings, and documents to ensure they are correct, mathematically accurate and properly coded.
• Tracking employee credit card receipts.
• Assist in reconciling intercompany AP accounts for month-end closing.
• Vouchering project related invoices and Pay-Apps while ensuring proper approval and coding.
• Reconciling Subcontractors' schedule of value with executed contracts.
• Maintaining filing of historical AP records (checks, invoices, statements, etc.) Addressing and responding to vendor inquiries.
• Reviewing and reconciling invoices, Pay-Apps discrepancies.
• Performs other job duties as assigned.
