Job summary

Fisk Electric, a Tutor Perini Company, seeks an Accounts Payable Clerk III to join our Houston, TX office. This role handles project payable accounting from start to close-out across multiple projects, verifies vendor compliance, and prepares weekly disbursements, supporting project managers with timely status reports.

You will maintain filing, scan and route invoices, and collaborate with supervisors and subcontractors to ensure accurate accounting workflows.

Qualifications

• High School graduate with two years of advanced business/accounting education preferred.
• 3+ years experience in Accounting or a related field.
• Must be computer literate and have strong keyboarding and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete scope of project payable accounting from inception through job close-out for multiple projects.
• Review and post job cost and committed cost of major purchase orders for vendors for timely project status reporting.
• Verify compliance items (insurance certificates, W-9 information, etc.) before issuing first check.
• Prepare and balance weekly disbursements for check processing.
