Job summary

Atlas Roofing Corporation is seeking an Accounting Clerk to support the Clinton, IA manufacturing facility. The role involves posting vendor and freight invoices in the PeopleSoft ERP, ensuring accurate match of receipts and invoices, and managing accounts payable tasks.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (some college preferred) and proficient Excel skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work with various departments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PeopleSoft or related ERP software.
• Accurate data entry with strong numerical ability (10-key).
• Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management.
• Basic understanding of accounts payable processes.

Responsibilities

• Post vendor and freight vouchers and invoices into the ERP system.
• Review and match raw material receipts with invoices.
• Process accounts payable invoices.
• Match inbound freight invoices with receipts and process freight invoices.
• Maintain and file accounting records, both manually and electronically.
• Direct responsibility for accounts payable.
