DSLD Homes LLC in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage invoice processing and payments for construction and overhead. The role reports to the Controller and emphasizes accurate job cost coding and timely disbursements.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma (college accounting degree preferred), strong Excel skills, and proven attention to detail. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Baton Rouge, with a benefits package and growth opportunities.

• Residency in Louisiana (LA) or nearby states as required.

Responsabilidades

• Understand and apply job cost and general ledger coding processes and procedures.
• Review invoices for appropriate coding, documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Prioritize invoices according to cash discount potential and payment terms.
• Enter invoices for daily disbursement runs (ACH, Checks, etc) into the accounting system.
• Enter invoices for multiple companies and business lines.
• Review and process employee reimbursements.
• Review and reconcile invoice discrepancies.
• Address and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Maintain files and documentation accurately.
• Review vendor statements ensuring that all payments and open payables are entered/completed in a timely manner.

DSLD Homes is a nationally recognized homebuilder with markets ranging from Texas to Florida. DSLD Homes is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to handle invoices and payments related to construction of houses and general overhead.

OVERVIEW

Under the direction of the Controller, the Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for analyzing and processing payments in a timely manner, ensuring proper approval authority, handling job cost and general ledger coding, handling vendor calls regarding inquiries and/or discrepancies and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
